Federico Spandonaro is researcher and lecturer at the University of Roma “Tor Vergata”; at present he holds courses (graduate e post graduate) in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, Health Economics and Health Care Management in the Faculty of Economics, Medicine and Surgery and Statistics. Currently he is coordinating the CEIS (University of Tor Vergata) Health Report, as well as research and post graduate programs in Health Economics and Health Care Management.

At present consultant of the Italian Minister of Health and member of the Commission for Medical Devices (CUD) of the Min. of Health.

Chair of several National Research Projects funded by the Min. of Health (in the years 2002 2008 “Cost-effectiveness assessment of guide lines for screening, early diagnosis and multi professional therapy of Colon Rectal Cancer”, “Monitoring Health Expenditures”, “Funding Long Term Care”, “Promoting Innovation and Risk Management”).

Current research focus on Health economics, Health Care Management and Economics of Social Protection.
Consultants of Hospitals and Local Health Authorities.
